Chorus Community Health Plans, the insurance arm of Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin, will not offer individual and family ACA plans past 2025.

In a June 26 letter to providers, the insurer’s president, Mark Rakowski, cited significant increases in medical and pharmaceutical costs as the reason for the market exit. The organization will focus its resources on its core Medicaid business, which represents more than 90% of total enrollment.

CCHP serves about 140,000 members total and offers ACA coverage in 15 counties in Wisconsin.
